THE FOUNDER
I am Rasheedah Loharsingh the CEO, founder and creative force of Naturals’ Republic Hair. Face. Body. I grew up in the salon environment, my Father being a Cosmetologist and my Mother a nature-loving holistic healer, natural hair and beauty guru. Having these two folks for parents, ushered my fondness for cosmetics and natural beauty products at an early age and allowed me to develop a true passion for inspiring others to embrace their natural beauty and genetic gifts.
I have been intrigued by botanical ingredients and their healing properties for as long as I can remember and in hindsight, I realize that the journey leading up to this point in my life has been a result of divine order rather than a serendipitous occurrence. It only makes sense that after years of working in the corporate world, I would end up developing a natural self-care brand while operating one of San Francisco Bay Area’s top Boutique Day Spas, Organic Bliss Day Spa. Gleaning nuggets from my years of multidisciplinary training in Cosmetic Chemistry, Skin Physiology, Aesthetics, and Herbalism has refined my penchant for formulating a complete line of spa quality products for all to enjoy.
Initially, I began by creating face and body care products to be utilized during the services that I would offer in my Day Spa. However, what I truly desired was to create a "total body care line". One that addressed all of our self-care needs from head to toe. Using my own fine and kinky tresses as my muse, Naturals' Republic hair care was born. I would offer samples as gifts to my clients, family, and friends who eventually grew to love Naturals' Republic products and continue to keep them as staples within their own household. When asked how I developed the name Naturals’ Republic my reply is simple. Naturals’, because this line is for "Us". Those who prefer their hair in its natural kinky, curly or wavy state and those who desire thoughtfully formulated products containing natural and organic ingredients that produce salon quality results without compromising your health. In conversations with my clients and customers, I know that their sentiments are mutual when it comes to personal care. They trust my expertise and experience. I feel as though I am elected by them to represent them...hence the word “Republic”. This truth sits at the core of my purpose whether overseeing day to day operations at the NR manufacturing plant, formulating new products or providing spa services to clients. So you see, I am you and You are Me...together We are, the Naturals’ Republic. “Naturally Diverse, Undeniably You”.
